The Cancer Center on the campus of Benedictine Hospital was developed so that our community would have access to the early detection and treatment of cancer.
This facility houses some of the latest technologies available today. Our mission is to detect and treat cancer. It is also to help you understand cancer and its impact on you and your family and friends, to provide you with the group and individual support needed so that you may return, as much as possible, to your normal life.
There are many promising new and emerging forms and types of cancer therapy. You and your doctor will most likely discuss chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. There’s a good reason for this. They are the most commonly used therapies.
The type of treatment that is most appropriate for you will depend on the specific diagnosis, as well as on other factors such as age, sex, and your general health.
We encourage you to ask questions and utilize our professional support staff.
The detection, treatment, and care of cancer patients is a Center of Excellence at Benedictine Hospital. From early detection to compassionate palliative care, our entire staff is dedicated to your well-being and your comfort. Our professional nursing staff, trained in the care of cancer patients, is sensitive to the needs not only of their patient but also of the entire family of caregivers.

We treat not only the
body but the spirit. And treatments are always performed in a supportive,
confidential environment.
